Pre and post-race activities are in the ND Heritage Center. Everyone 13 and older runs in a Santa suit, included in your race packet. Santa suits are limited to the first 500 registrants.
New this year is a FREE Fun Run Elf Dash for children ages 12 and under which will be run at 9:30 am prior to the Santa Run 5K which begins at 10 am. Children participating in the Elf Dash will receive an elf hat. Children 12 and under can also register to run the Santa Run 5K.
Everyone who registers is invited to a pre-race reception on Friday, December 13, at the Heritage Center. Our featured speaker this year is Billy Mills. Billy Mills grew up on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, won the gold medal in the 10,000 meter run at the Tokyo Olympics in 1964 (the only American male to ever win that event), and has dedicated his life to giving back through charities including “Running Strong With American Indian Youth”.
