Other Race Day Info:
- We invite you to run your "virtual" Santa Run 5K or Cool Mile with RADD on Saturday, December 12th at 10 am at the State Capitol Grounds
- Races will be self-timed. Electronic clock will be available.
- To ensure a safe Santa Run, there will be no pre or post race gathering inside the Heritage Center.
- Warm post-race refreshments will be provided outside.
- Precautions will be in place to protect against the spread of COVID-19. The full list of these precautions can be found below!
Registration Fee:
- Early Registration (October 5-October 31): $30
- Registration (November 1-December 21): $35

- Our guest speaker for the Friday evening program will be Kathrine Switzer. Kathrine Switzer was the first woman to officially enter and run the Boston Marathon in 1967. A lifelong leader and advocate for women’s running, Kathrine continues to connect, support and inspire women around the world through running with her 261 Fearless organization. She will be an amazing speaker to promote the positive power of running to change lives!
Packet Pick Up:
- Packets will be available for pick up at the Larks Front Office (201 W Front Ave) from November 30th - December 22nd.
- If you are unable to pick up your race packet, don't worry! We can also ship you your race packet. When you register please scroll down to "Add-ons" and select the number of race swag packages you need shipped. Each package will be shipped for a small fee of $5.
COVID-19 Precautions:
- The safety of our community is a top priority for us. With that being said, the following safety precautions will take place on the in person race day:
- Please follow all safety measures provided by government agencies regarding COVID-19 which may be in place at the time of this race.
- All participants will be required to wear a face covering and social distance at the start of the race. Face coverings will be provided to all participants in their swag packet.
- If you are not feeling well, or if you have a fever of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit, you should not attend the in person race.
- Runners are encouraged to keep a distance of 6 feet or more from other runners.
- Hand sanitizer stations will be provided at the start and finish of the race.

Other Race Day Info:
- Parking
- The Santa Run 5K and Cool Mile runs will start and finish on the road near the east entrance to the Heritage Center.
- You can park in the east parking lot for the Heritage Center, the Water Commission parking lot, or the east parking lot of the Highway Dept.
- Race Start Time: The Santa Run 5K and Cool Mile runs will start promptly at 10:00 am. You should arrive at the Heritage Center by 9:45 so you are ready to run or walk at 10:00.
- There is no race day registration or packet pick-up.
- Restrooms: Restrooms are available to the general public in the Heritage Center. If the Heritage Center is not open, port-a-potties will be provided.
